Chez ma cousine Bourg-de-four
A classic in Geneva for those looking for a quick, delicious meal without breaking the bank. Their specialty is roasted chicken, prepared in the traditional style and accompanied by generous sides like roasted potatoes and salad. It's a place where comfort food is the star.
We set out to try its star menu which includes half roasted chicken with potatoes and salad. Everything was juicy and well seasoned, a simple dish but full of flavor. We also ordered a quiche Lorraine, which turned out to be a delicious surprise, with a crispy base and a creamy filling.
The average price is around 23 CHF per person, making it an affordable and popular option for both locals and tourists. The atmosphere is very relaxed, with long shared tables and fast service. If you're hungry and looking for something uncomplicated, this place can't be beat.

Manora It is a self-service restaurant perfect for those looking for variety and affordable prices in the heart of Geneva. It is a buffet with options for all tastes: from fresh salads to hot dishes of international cuisine (sushi, Mexican, Indian, etc.). We tried a personalized salad, with avocado, quinoa and mozzarella, along with a mushroom risotto that was not bad.

It's an ideal option if you're strolling downtown and looking for a quick, reasonably priced meal, although don't expect gourmet food.

The Buvette des Bains
This restaurant is famous for serving one of the cheese fondues most affordable and delicious in Geneva. It is located in the Bains des Pâquis, right next to the lake. Here, for €27 per person You can enjoy a fondue with potatoes and unlimited bread. They also have daily specials for around €15.
Some friends recommended it to us, but we haven't been able to try it yet. We've noted it down for next time. They also tell us that it's especially magical at sunset, when the lake and the city lights create a unique atmosphere.

Italian restaurant known for its authentic Neapolitan pizzas and its lively atmosphere, it's the perfect place for a delicious meal without breaking your budget.
We tried their classic Margherita pizza, with a soft and spongy dough, and its tagliatelle alla Bolognese. Both dishes transported us directly to Italy, and the flavor lived up to expectations. Keep in mind that if they give you a jug of water They will charge you, and charge you well (after all, we are in Switzerland!)
