Located in the center of town, Miño House is the restaurant of the rural hotel with the same name where we happened to stay. Here everything revolves around the asturian home cooking with traditional recipes and portions that do not fall short.
We ask for the Asturian pot It came well loaded and with the compango at the right point. If you are fond of sweets, do not miss their cheesecake one of the best we have tasted lately.
The premises appear to be recently renovated as they are quite modern and the atmosphere is familiar although a bit frenetic at the bar. Unpretentious, but with a lot of charm. Ideal both for a quiet meal and to recharge your batteries after a route through the area.

Aparthotel El Meirel
Although it is primarily a lodging facility, the restaurant at the Aparthotel El Meirel has its own charm, especially if you are looking for a quiet corner to have a drink. They have a very pleasant terrace right next to the old bridge and the river, where it is luxurious, especially on sunny days.
We didn't get to eat there, but we did have a cider accompanied by a table of Asturian cheeses which was spectacular. Everything we saw passing by looked very good: homemade dishes, generous portions and a repeat clientele, which is always a good sign.
The place is cozy, with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Ideal for an unhurried stop, enjoying the surroundings and the tranquility of the village.

This restaurant is part of one of the best-known lodgings in Pola de Somiedo, and although we did not eat there, we did go to breakfast and we were delighted. It is a spacious place, with mountain views and a very quiet atmosphere in the morning.
We ordered a simple but very well prepared breakfast: toast with homemade jam coffee with milk and a natural juice that tasted great. They also had pastries, cold meats and more complete options if you are hungry from first thing in the morning.
The restaurant itself is bright, with a comfortable dining room and a correct treatment. Ideal to start the day with energy if you have route plans or just want to relax before exploring.

Agrolab is not an ordinary restaurant, but rather a local grocery store which also serves food. It is one of those curious places that combine the sale of food with the artisan products with a small area to have a snack or a coffee, all in a very authentic atmosphere.
They have local products The menu includes cheeses, cured meats, preserves... and a small menu with simple but very appealing items. We didn't sit down to eat, but we did browse around and took a couple of things to snack on the way. The service was friendly and knowledgeable about what they sell.
