• If you are passionate about the sun and the sea, the Costa Blanca and the Costa del Azahar are perfect to enjoy hotels and apartments overlooking the Mediterranean. Here, you can relax on paradisiacal beaches and explore picturesque coastal villages.
• For a more cultural and gastronomic visit, you can stay in big cities such as Valencia, Alicante o Castellón and walk through its streets, main monuments or restaurants with typical food.
• On the other hand, if you prefer the tranquility and the fresh air of the mountains, we suggest you to visit the Espadán Mountains in Castellón, the Sierra de Mariola in Alicante or the Albufera Natural Park in Valencia. Best time to travel to the Valencian Community

As mentioned before, the best time to discover this region will depend largely on your travel plans. The Valencian Community enjoys a fairly good climate, which makes any season a good time to visit.

This area is known for its temperate and sunny climate, especially in spring and autumn when temperatures are milder and more pleasant. These times are perfect for touring its cities full of history, strolling through its beautiful villages and enjoying its beaches without the summer crowds.

The summer in the Valencian Community can be hot, but if you are fans of the sun and the beach, this is the season for you. You will love the festive atmosphere and the many celebrations and festivals that take place at this time of year. Of course, during the peak hours of heat, it might be best to relax on a shady terrace or take a dip in the sea.

The winter is cooler and more humid, but it is still an interesting option if you want to avoid the crowds and enjoy a more relaxed pace during your trip. In addition, you will be able to do some mountain activities in the Espadán Mountains or the Sierra de Mariola or simply enjoy the winter scenery in the natural parks, a unique experience!

How to get around the Valencian Community

One of the most interesting alternatives may be rent a car and take a road trip. It will give you the freedom to access the most hidden places and discover the picturesque villages. The roads in the Valencian Community are in very good condition and the scenery during your journey will be breathtaking.

How to get to the Valencian Community

If you are traveling from a distant Spanish city or from abroad, the aircraft is an excellent option. The Valencian Community has important international airports, such as that of Valencia o Alicante which offer numerous connections and flight frequencies. Upon arrival, you can choose to rent a car, take a bus or train to reach your desired destination.

Another possibility is to travel by train especially if you start from Madrid. The AVE, the high-speed train, connects Madrid with Valencia in a short time, which is a comfortable and fast way to reach the area.

You can also choose the bus which is usually a cheaper alternative and offers a large number of routes between different Spanish and Valencian cities. Although the journey may take a little longer than by train, it is an accessible and practical option.
