The Andalusian cuisine is one of our favorites so we take advantage of every trip we make to Seville to try different flavors and restaurants (and return to those we love). At Seville We have been discovering many places full of flavor and tradition over the years.
In this article, we will tell you what are for us some of the best restaurants to eat in Seville. We recommend you places for all tastes, some more classics to test some pringá montaditos that will make your mouths water, or spectacular salmorejos and other more modern ones where you can try fusion cuisine such as a delicious yakitori chicken or woks.
So, whether you are passing through Seville or if you are staying there for a few days, do not miss our route around the best restaurants in Seville.
1. Bodeguita Romero
Traditional tapas bar in typical andalusian food. It is one of our favorites in the city and we repeat whenever we can. We love to go for tapas and try different things from the menu. You can't miss their pringá montadito The rest of the tapas are no slouches either: croquetas delicious, russian salad, its tasty cheeks or salmorejo, everything is finger-licking good!
It is a small place with a few tables on the terrace and they do not accept reservations. You have to sign up on a waiting list so we recommend you to come early or you will have to wait a long time. The average price is 17€ per person It is one of the most recommended restaurants to eat well and cheaply in Seville.
2. Old Dog
Restaurant of modern food with a not very extensive menu where you can order rations or tapas. It is one of the best restaurants in Seville to go with a group of friends and to order several rations to share. For us, its star dish is the yakitori chicken with bulgur one of the tastiest we have ever tasted. We also highlight its duck rice with mushrooms A very abundant and delicious ration.
The place is made of exposed brick and has a modern decoration. It is also quite large and you can book online for the tables inside, while for the terrace There is a queue. The average price is 23 per person eating very well.



3. Brutal Bar
This restaurant is located in the Triana neighborhood The river is crossed to the other side of the river from the old town. Some friends from Seville discovered it for us the last time we were there and it was a great success. It has a varied menu that changes every 15 days according to the seasonal products and in which there is no lack of meats, fish, sausages or vegetables.
We tested one of their meats by weight to share, which was very tasty, a few fried cuttlefish they had off the menu and their famous sautéed artichokes. It is one of the few restaurants where we have tasted both meat and fish.
It has a large terrace and a beautiful newly renovated local. The average price per person is 25 per person asking for meat.
4. Castizo Bar
Bar of classic Spanish food with a modern twist One of the best restaurants to eat well in Seville. They have dishes of snacking, fried fish, spoon stews and its traditional dishes. Impressive its potatoes aliñás with glass shrimp, delicious glazed chicken, or their Iberian cheeks.
The premises have a modern decoration with some places at the bar from where you can see all the preparation of the food, but it does not have a terrace. As a curiosity, you cannot miss its bathroom decorated with dominoes. Reservations can be made through their website. The average price is 30 per person.
5. Dos de Mayo Winery
Bar of traditional sevillian food specializing in chacinas and montaditos accompanied by a good selection of wines. It is one of the most recommended bars in Seville to go to snack on some sausages with a beer.
Whenever we go there, we usually order some kind of sausage, being the Iberian sausage one of our favorites. If you go in a group we recommend you to order the assortment of iberian cured meats with cheese to try different things. Very tasty also their fried fish such as the small dots or the codfish fritters.
The premises have been refurbished, but maintaining the style of a classic sevillian tavern. They also have a terrace located in the square. The prices are different if you eat at the bar or on the terrace. If you go at a busy time we recommend you to call to reserve because it is usually full to capacity. The average price is about 20 per person.
6. Eslava Space
Restaurant of renovated traditional cuisine with a twist located in the neighborhood of San Lorenzo. Espacio Eslava is one of the best restaurants to eat tapas in Seville if you like the modern concept they have. They use seasonal products, some from their own garden, combining traditional Andalusian recipes with more modern dishes. It is one of the Seville classics that never goes out of style.
A must try some of their most iconic dishes, such as the yolk over boletus sponge cake or the Béquer's cigar brick pasta stuffed with squid ink and squid. But more traditional dishes are not left behind either, such as the salmorejo which is also spectacular.
Reservations can be made through their website, but only for the indoor lounge. The tables in the terrace and seating at the bar is on a first come, first served basis, where you are put on a waiting list. We advise you to go early if you go without a reservation, as there are long waiting lists. The average price per person is 25-30€.
7. Ovejas Negras tapas
One of the best restaurants in Seville to go out for lunch or dinner fusion tapas Asian and Spanish. It has a varied menu with burgers, wok, various montaditos, etc.. For us the best dish on the menu is the glazed Iberian cheeks which has an exquisite flavor. Very tasty also their patatas bravas with salsa brava and alioli, or their pulled pork tacos.
One of the most important things to keep in mind is that it is a place that is in fashion and you can't reserve. It has happened to us several times that we have tried to go and we have been told that there were already a lot of people on the waiting list. Come early (or late) if you don't want to wait a long time. The average price per person is 23€.
8. Donkey Canaglia
Restaurant of typical italian food reinvented with Spanish touches. In its menu there is no lack of risottos, pizzas or pasta dishes, but with small modern touches that reinterpret them.
We have tested several of their risottos We were amazed by a blue cheese tapa that was on the menu for a while. The pizzas They can be ordered in two flavors (one in each half) and the dough is spectacular, very thin. One of our favorites is the carnivorous.
There is several restaurants of this chain in Seville and we have tried a couple of them, eating very well in both of them. There are also Burro Canaglia in other cities in Spain such as Alicante or Málaga. They usually have a fairly large place and a small terrace. The average price per person is 23€.
9. Lobo Lopez
Modern tapas bar serving typical Andalusian food with Asian fusion touches. They highlight in their menu the woks and pokes, as well as more traditional dishes such as croquettes or bravas. They also have a menu of cocktails.
Some of the dishes that we have tasted and that we liked the most were its salad with curry and mango sauce which we found very original, and the wok chifa which was very tasty.
The place has a modern decoration full of vegetation, with a inner courtyard super nice. They do not have an outdoor terrace. The average price is 25 per person.
10. Of the O
Restaurant of Andalusian food located in Triana, just across the bridge of Cristo de la Inspiración. They use local seasonal products and that is reflected in their dishes and in their menu, which changes every week, but keeping the most popular dishes.
This restaurant is one of the most expensive that you will find on the list, but it is really worth going at least once in a lifetime special occasion. When we went everything we tried we loved it: crispy prawns accompanied by a delicious sauce, tuna cutlets spectacular, or the crème brûlée.
They have a small place with a lot of charm and a very nice nice terrace overlooking the river making it one of the best restaurants for a charming dinner in Seville. The average price per person is 40-50€.
