Guide to the festivities of Peligros (Granada)

From tuesday, july 15 to sunday, july 20 Peligros (Granada) celebrates its popular festivities with a program full of activities for all tastes. There is live music every night proposals for children and adults, day fair with tapas, sport, free evening games library and even a inclusive fair designed for people with ASD or other sensitivities.

Among the most anticipated concerts are Antonio Carmona, Falete, Juanlu Montoya the tribute to Estopa with Red Wine and groups such as Radio80. Tuesday, July 15: Gymkana and verbena to start the day

The festivities kick off on Tuesday night with two quite different proposals depending on what you feel like.

At 21:00 h in the Amphitheater the Urban Gymkana organized by the Polaris Association. Registration is free and is done by groups of at least three people, so if you go with friends or family, it is a good opportunity to have fun going around the town overcoming tests. You must sign up before July 11, so do not leave it to the last minute.

At the same time, at the Candelaria Square will be held at the Senior Citizens Verbena with the election of the King and Queen, dance competitions and a concert of copla by Iván Centenillo. He will be accompanied by the Trio del Sur. Admission is by invitation only, which can be picked up at the Department of Social Services until July 11. It is an event that usually brings together many people of the municipality and has enough atmosphere.

Wednesday, July 16: Inclusive fair, proclamation and Youth Night

Wednesday starts with a different proposal: from 20:00 to 21:30 h is held on Inclusive Fair. During this time, the volume of the music in the attractions is eliminated so that they can enjoy the attractions as well children and people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other sensory sensitivities. A simple measure that makes a difference and makes it possible for everyone to participate.

At 21:30 h in the Amphitheater the official kick-off with the announcement of this year, in charge of Eva Moleón Páiz local architect. Then, at 22:00 h the stage is filled with the music of the CYD Company of Peligros which usually mixes flamenco with other styles.

And if you're looking for something more hardcore, starting at 22:30 h begins the Noche Joven in the Official Booth. Thursday, July 17: Morning of games, evening of concerts

The day begins with a chocolate at 10:00 a.m. in the Plaza de los Patos. The following are distributed chocolate with churros But the warning is clear: there is limited stock, so if you go, you better not be late.

At 11:00 h in the same square, begins the Game Fair with proposals such as giant dartboard, hammer, knock down the can or duck-grabbing. They are simple games, but ideal for the kids (and for parents who want to disconnect for a while).

In the afternoon-evening, starting at 20:30 h in the Municipal Park Amphitheater the Children's Costume Party with the show "My best gift" from La Carpa Theater. All children in costume get a gift, so if you go with kids, get your costume trunk.

At 22:30 h starts on pyromusical show next to the Official Booth. A combination of fireworks and music, which usually brings together quite a large audience.

From then on, the evening will be extended with several concerts in a row at the Official Booth:

• 22:45 h: Red Wine Estopa tribute band.
• 00:00 h: Juanlu Montoya with their flamenco-pop style.
• 01:30 h session with the DJ Felipe Rubio which will be repeated later in the fair.

From the 00:00 to 04:00 h is also available the service of free evening games library for those who go with small children and want to stay a little longer at the party.

Friday, July 18: sports, swimming pool and night with Falete

The day starts at 10:30 h with a sporting activity: the Petanque Tournament at the Parque de la Libertad. No registration is required, so you can come directly if you want to participate or just see the atmosphere.

As of 12:00 h one of the most eagerly awaited events of the summer is held: the Aquatic Party at the Municipal Pool. There are usually floating inflatables and games in the water. It is free for children under 16 years and lasts until 14:00 pm. It is advisable to arrive early, because it fills up quickly.

In the afternoon, at 20:30 h the stage of the Amphitheater opens with the show "Great Circus of Dreams" from La Carpa Theater designed for family audiences. And from there, the night comes alive with several performances in the Official Booth:

• 22:30 h: the Vintash Orchestra which performs live versions of pop, rock and current songs.
• 00:00 h: Falete in concert, one of the highlights of this edition.
• 01:30 h closing session with the DJ Manu Castro.
• And as every night since Thursday, there will be free evening games library until 04:00 h.

Saturday, July 19: daytime fair, tapas and night party until late

Since the morning, the Plaza de los Patos becomes the center of the environment. At 12:00 h starts the Day Fair with bar, live music and tapas. At the same time also starts the Tapa Fair organized by the Gastronomic Association La Cazuela, with dishes prepared by local bars and groups. There is variety and everything is usually very well priced, so it is worth staying to eat there.

For the little ones, the morning also brings a plan: starting at 11:00 h in the Parque de la Luz there are aquatic inflatables and sliding track one of the children's favorite activities.

At 20:30 h in the Amphitheater the family show returns with the group Peque Show which mixes games, music and live entertainment.

Saturday night at the Official Booth continues at the usual pace:

• 22:30 h: concert of Radio80 with pop and rock versions of the 80's and 90's.
• 00:00 h: takes to the stage the La Tentación Orchestra The show is very well known in Andalusia for its live show.
• 01:30 h: session of DJ Felipe Rubio to close the night.
• And as always, free evening games library from 00:00 to 04:00 h for those who go with children.

Sunday, July 20: Antonio Carmona, foam and goodbye

The morning gets off to a lively start for the little ones: starting at 11:00 h in the Parque de la Luz the aquatic inflatables and the skid pad as on Saturday. And as a finale, at 13:00 h the long-awaited Foam Party. Everyone ends up soaking wet, so bring clothes that can get wet and, if you can, a change of clothes for the kids.

At noon, the Day Fair in the Plaza de los Patos with an early morning atmosphere, food, drinks and good music.

In the afternoon, the focus shifts to sports with the celebration of the traditional Urban Mile Antonio Bailón "El Kilos". a very popular race in the municipality. It is also celebrated the end of the program "Disfruta Tus Noches". with tournaments and prize-giving.

In the evening, in the Official Booth The fair closes with a powerful line-up:

• 22:30 h performance of Antonio Carmona former member of Ketama.
• 00:00 h second session of the Vintash Orchestra which repeats after Friday's performance.
• 01:30 h final farewell with DJ Felipe Rubio which has been the norm throughout the week.
• As in previous days, the free toy library service until 04:00 h.
