The beaches with the best atmosphere in Ibiza

We know that Ibiza is a destination with much more than just partying, but if this is what you are looking for on your trip to this beautiful island, don't miss our ranking: we tell you our Top 4 beaches for partying in Ibiza this summer.

Before we begin, here are some interesting links to other related posts that might be of interest if you're traveling to Ibiza:

1. Playa d'en Bossa and beach clubs

The most festive beach on the entire island should be a must-visit if you're looking for a taste of the atmosphere that makes the Balearic Islands so famous. This area is where the larger events of the island, concerts, sessions of the best DJs. Surely you know Ushuaia  or the Hard Rock Hotel which, as its name suggests, are hotels located on the beach itself that offer a movie discotheque that anyone can enter even if they are not staying at the hotel (Of course, you will have to buy a ticket beforehand, either online or there).

If we leave aside the locals of Bossa Beach We have a place very similar to the rest of Ibiza's beaches in terms of the quality of its waters and white sand, although it's much wider than most. The sand is packed with people, street vendors, and above all, a great atmosphere!

It's very close to the airport, so it's not hard to see both commercial and private jets flying by, coming to spend a few days in paradise. If your idea is to see nature and pristine beaches, I recommend checking out our post about the best places to visit in IbizaIf you'd also like to experience the Ibizan party scene at one of its clubs, stay tuned and we'll tell you which ones are worth visiting.

The choice is very simple. Depending on your vacation budget, you can rent sun loungers ($$$), eat ($$), or have a drink ($) at any of the bars located along the beach. Some of the most popular are:

  • The Beach By Ushuaia. A beach club right next to Ushuaia, owned by the same people, and a popular spot for a day out before hitting the clubs.

Where to park in Playa d'en Bossa?

Depending on the season of the year it may be quite difficult Finding parking near the beach. If you arrive before 11 a.m., you shouldn't have much trouble parking on the Platja d'en Bossa road itself, as there's plenty of space. Just follow it and parking areas will appear on the sides. The island's most famous beach clubs are located around this road. The largest ones even have their own discotheque/hotel version right on the beach. If you've already decided which one you want to go to, try to park nearby because the beach is very long and you might have to walk quite a bit.

2. Cala Bassa

Bassa Cove It is a beach surrounded by vegetation with a special charm. When you arrive you will find a wooden walkway which helps you get into the sand, once inside you will see a wide beach divided by a couple of stones that are located more or less in the middle of the cove.

The Cala Bassa Beach Club It's one of the most famous on the island and is usually packed with famous people. It's located just behind the sand, on a raised area with covered and uncovered areas where you can eat, have a drink, or rent sun loungers for the day. Its prices are in line with Ibiza standards, and if you park your car in its lot, you'll get a discount on your first drinks. We'll explain more below!

Where to park in Cala Bassa?

Upon reaching the cove by road, you'll find a roundabout that you can use to go back the way you came or continue straight ahead and park in the beach bar parking lot.

  • If you are lucky enough to go in motorcycle you can park free on the left in an area enabled among the vegetation.
  • On the other hand, if you go in car you will have to pay 5€ for leaving your car all day. The good thing is that those €5 include a drink at the Beach Club... it's something.

If you want free parking, you'll have to go around the roundabout or try to park in a space on the side of the road on the way. This is quite complicated unless you get up very early, so for this occasion, I'd recommend paying for beach parking to avoid any problems.
