Bar El Champi
A classic of The Tube that does not fail: Bar El Champi is one of those places where you know where you are going and, honestly, it never disappoints. With its metal bar and traditional atmosphere, it is one of those bars that breathe authenticity.
Here we come for one thing and one thing only its mythical mushroom skewer. Three plump grilled mushrooms, mounted on bread and coated in a green sauce delicious that drips (literally) all over the place. Don't think about it too much, order it, napkin in hand, and enjoy it as it deserves. It is a simple but absolutely addictive bite.

We ordered some scrambled eggs with ternasco The dishes were delicious: the tender veal, well cooked and with a flavor that makes you dip your bread in it. Of course, the potatoes were chips homemade, which is not bad, but we would have liked it better if they were fried. We also tried their ternasco croqueton The béchamel sauce, huge and very tasty, with that unctuous béchamel that cries out for a beer.
The place is cozy, with rustic and modern touches at the same time. It has a small terrace, perfect if you catch good weather, and the atmosphere is quite lively without being overwhelming. Ideal for a relaxed lunch or dinner with friends tasting Aragonese specialties.

We tested their chupa-chups of ternasco with goat cheese A bold and delicious combination, with a contrast of flavors that works surprisingly well. We also tried the sirloin steak with foie juicy and with that sweet spot of foie that makes it irresistible. Two dishes that, although not very big, have a great level and are designed to share and enjoy.
The place is small but charming, tastefully decorated and always with a good atmosphere. Ideal for an informal dinner with that "gastro" point that is appreciated. In addition, the service was very attentive and fast, something that is not always found in the area.

La Migueria
If you would like to try some good aragonese migas, La Migueria is your place. It is in the heart of Tubo and, as its name suggests, here the migas are the real protagonists. There are several versions, but all have that homemade flavor that transports you to the grandmother's kitchen.
We ask for the migas with chorizo The meat, which were spectacular: loose, tasty and with just the right amount of fat to make them tasty without being heavy. To balance, we shared a tomato salad with tuna belly fresh and of very good quality. Perfect to "lower" a little the miguelero feast.

One of the traditional ones with a narrow bar, a tight atmosphere and a tapas menu that justifies every minute of waiting. Because yes, getting a place is not easy But once inside, the experience more than makes up for it.
We tasted several of their specialties: some meatballs juicy and well-seasoned; a codfish cannelloni soft and tasty; and best of all, their croquetón de cocido It was crazy: crunchy on the outside, creamy on the inside, with all the flavor of the stew in every bite. Just for that alone it is worth the visit.

We tried several of them: the one from veal with a powerful and very local flavor; the one of risotto creamy and with an unexpected Italian touch; and the one of boletus perfect if you like that earthy flavor. As a sweet topping, we ordered the croquette of Oreo. Original, no doubt, although it was not our favorite... but hey, you have to try it at least once.
